Even though it is a hot spring, its salt content is said to be about twice that of seawater. This is a rare hot spring resort with one of the nation's most salty hot springs.

The two springs are the light yellowish-brown "Golden Hot Spring" and the translucent "Silver Hot Spring. Both have a reputation for rejuvenation.

Guest rooms include the "Ai" and "Beni" special rooms with cypress-scented baths, as well as luxurious Japanese-style and Western-style rooms.
